EVENT: Cricket Builds Hope Christmas Carols
December 5 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm£12.50
Celebrate Christmas with Cricket Builds Hope and Surrey County Cricket Club at St Mark’s Church, Kennington, near the Kia Oval, at a carol service with a cricket and Rwanda twist!
Cricket Builds Hope, which uses cricket and the spirit of the game as a tool for positive social change in Rwanda, invites you to join us for a charity carol service on Thursday 5 December, in partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club.
There will be readings from VIP guests, including Surrey fast bowler Stuart Meaker, High Commissioner for the Republic of Rwanda to the UK Her Excellency Yamina Karitanyi, and UK International Development Minister Baroness Liz Sugg, plus music from the UK’s only choral cricket team – Faire Is The XI – in a service led by Rev Canon Steve Coulson, Vicar of St Mark’s and Chaplain to Surrey CCC.
After the service, you are invited to join us for mulled wine and mince pies at the back of the Church.
Tickets are £25 and all the proceeds will go towards Cricket Builds Hope. Enter the promo code ‘RWANDAINUK’ at checkout to get 50 per cent off your ticket cost.
