Rwanda investment breakfast draws in UK investors

On Tuesday 21st January His Excellency President Paul Kagame joined a breakfast meeting in the center of London which brought together over 50 investors in various sectors including financial services, energy, infrastructure and tourism.

The Rwanda Development Board and Rwanda High Commission organised the round table discussions on the margins of the UK-Africa Investment Summit.

The meeting included a presentation from RDB to promote investment opportunities in Rwanda and to invite the UK business community to attend the CHOGM 2020 business forum in Kigali. The Commonwealth Business Forum is the largest of the forums held in support of the Summit where leaders and participants will meet to advance wealth creation for the Commonwealth and beyond.

A delegation from the Rwandan Private Sector also attended the breakfast and held interactive discussions with the UK business community offering useful insights on the doing business environment in Rwanda. According to the World Bank’s 2019 report Rwanda is the second easiest place to do business in Africa.
